Edmond Public Schools has built their newest elementary school, Centennial, immediately east of Iron Horse Ranch, which Iron Horse Development sold 30 acres to Edmond Public Schools and donated 10 acres for a public park on this site.  Centennial elementary school opened for classes for the 2007-08 school year and boasts state of the art facilities and classrooms. For the older kids, Sequoyah middle school  and Edmond north high school are both located just under four miles away.  Many of the Edmond public schools are not more than fifteen minutes away from Iron Horse Ranch. Of course there are many excellent private schools in the area as well, which are also conveniently located.
